Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively with teachers, students, and support teams.

You will be confident in leading a library service, embracing digital and physical resources, and creating engaging initiatives that enhance learning. A calm, professional approach, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to educational excellence will be key to success in this role.

Exceptional organisational and resource management skills, with the ability to balance strategic development with the day-to-day running of a busy learning resource centre.

Strong knowledge of research, referencing, and information literacy, with the ability to teach and support students in becoming ethical and independent users of information.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work collaboratively with teaching staff, Learning Support teams, students, and senior leaders.

Confidence in managing library systems, digital resources, and information technology to support modern teaching and learning.

Proven ability to lead, support, and develop staff, fostering a positive and efficient working environment.

Creativity and initiative in promoting reading for pleasure and designing engaging literacy events and activities.

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records, cataloguing systems, and resource inventories.

A calm, professional approach with the flexibility to thrive in a dynamic school environment.

A commitment to the values and ethos of St Christopher’s School and a desire to contribute positively to the wider school community.
