Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated, dynamic and forward-thinking Deputy Headteacher to support the leadership of our school community. You will bring recent, successful leadership experience and be confident in driving high standards across teaching and learning, curriculum, behaviour, inclusion and safeguarding.

You will work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to ensure the school continues to deliver strong outcomes for all pupils, and that every child is supported to thrive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Headteacher in the day-to-day leadership and management of the school
  •  Play a key role in leading teaching and learning and securing high standards across the curriculum
  •  Contribute to the strategic direction of the school and support delivery of school improvement priorities
  •  Lead and model high expectations for behaviour, safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing
  •  Support and develop staff through coaching, mentoring and professional development
  •  Build positive relationships with pupils, families and the wider community
  •  Support the effective use of resources to ensure strong impact and value for money
  •  Deputise for the Headteacher as required

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status and have successful leadership experience within a primary setting
  •  Be committed to the Christian values of the Trust and the ethos of the academy
  •  Be passionate about delivering excellent outcomes for all pupils
  •  Be confident in supporting curriculum development, teaching and learning and assessment
  •  Have strong knowledge of safeguarding, SEND and inclusive practice
  •  Be skilled in developing teams, leading others and supporting improvement
  •  Communicate clearly and confidently with staff, pupils, parents and stakeholders
  •  Be resilient, positive and driven by moral purpose
