School Administration Assistant (Level 2)

36.25 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only - 38 Weeks'

Part Time, Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 3.45pm (30 min lunch)

St Matthew's Church of England Primary Academy, part of Cidari Education Multi Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint an Administration Assistant who has ideally worked within a busy school office. The ideal candidate should have good customer service, ICT and communication skills. We are seeking an individual who is well-organised, efficient, flexible, calm, friendly, motivated and passionate about providing an excellent support service.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
  • Care passionately for all our children, no matter what their barriers are, or the challenges they bring into school
  • Build professional relationships with children, staff, parents and outside agencies
  • Have some knowledge and experience of safeguarding, behaviour support and pastoral support
  • Demonstrate good communication skills that allow effective communication with all levels of school staff, governors, pupils and parents
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Very good organisational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure

The ability to speak or write in Romanian or other eastern European languages would be a distinct advantage.
